Café Ubé at The Shipyard

We’ve now extended our offering at The Shipyard! Relax at Café Ubé before you sail, with a range of bar drinks now available – as well as hot drinks, snacks, salads, sandwiches, and grab & go hot food.

Open two hours before each daytime ferry departure, Café Ubé offers a cosy and welcoming space at Elizabeth Terminal, with quick and easy service. Whether you’re a foot passenger looking to enjoy a leisurely coffee or glass of wine before you sail; a car passenger, wanting to grab breakfast or lunch to take onto the ferry; or family and friends dropping off a loved one… you’ll find healthy, tasty, Jersey-made food in our comfy café. Pop in and see us the next time you’re travelling through Jersey’s harbour – if you’re in a hurry, you can even order to Click & Collect, and we’ll have your food and drinks ready to pick up at your chosen time.

We’ve also reopened The Shipyard’s children’s play area, so keeping the little ones entertained before you travel couldn’t be easier. Grab a coffee and relax, as the kids let their imaginations run wild.

You’ll find us inside the former Shipyard restaurant, at Elizabeth Terminal, Jersey Harbour.

Is the café open to those who aren't travelling?
A

Of course! Everyone is welcome at Café Ubé – just pop by during our opening hours.

Do you serve hot food?
A

We have hot food – such as soups, rolls, hot wraps and burritos – available to grab & go from the Café (suitable to take away and enjoy on the boat, or to eat in the café).

Depending on demand, our menu may evolve to offer more substantial dishes in the future.

Is the play area open?
A

Yes – the children’s play area is open and available to customers during the café opening hours.

Please read and follow our safety guidelines (displayed on the wall, in the play area) before allowing your child to play.

Please note that all children must be supervised by an adult, and that the play area is used at your own risk.

How do I order to Click & Collect?
A

Ordering to Click & Collect couldn’t be easier…!

  • Visit our ordering site, and choose ‘Click & Collect’
  • Choose what you’d like, and add it to your basket
  • Proceed to the checkout, and choose your collection time
  • Pay for your order

Then, just head to The Shipyard at your collection time, and head straight to the counter.

Orders can be made any time on the day of collection – so just order before you set off for the harbour, and skip the queue!
