Café Ubé FAQs and Answers

For products pre-packed in a facility outside our own kitchens, you will find the allergen information on the label. All products pre-packed and sealed in our own premises have allergens on the label. For all unpackaged and products we make in our premises please ask to see the allergen menu that can be accessed via a QR code in each location.

To place your order, please click on the Click & Collect button on our website or go to order.cafeube.com
Add the food you’d like to your basket, chose a slot time for delivery, pay online and then come and collect from your chosen café. We have a limited number of orders per slot to ensure good service, so please understand if your chosen slot is not available.
To sign up, please collect a new card from your local Café Ubé, write your details on the envelope, then place the envelope in the box.
You can keep the card and start using it right away, but we’ll need to register it before you can spend your points. We’ll do this usually within a week once we’ve received your completed envelope.
If you have an old swipecard, you can also transfer the points to a new self-scan card. To do this, please pick up a new card and fill in your details on the envelope, then place your old card inside the envelope before putting it in the collection box. We’ll then transfer the points over from the old card to your new card. Please note that it will usually take around a week for the points to transfer.
If you have lost your old card, we may still be able to transfer any points you had collected. If this is the case for you, please write ‘LOST’ on your envelope when signing up for a new card, and we’ll run a search to check for any old cards associated with your email address.
The JPRestaurants Loyalty Card entitles you to receive points on every purchase you make at Café Ubé which you can redeem against subsequent purchases at any Café Ubé.
You will earn 5 points for every pound you spend. Each 100 points entitles you to food and hot and cold drinks to a value of £1, an equivalent of 5% discount on all purchases redeemable only in Café Ubé.
In order to continue to receive the benefits as a cardholder, you agree to your current e-mail address being held on the JPRestaurants database and to receive e-mails and newsletters from time to time about our products and services. You may be required on an annual basis to confirm your e-mail address and if you unsubscribe from the database, your card may be withdrawn. Lost cards will be replaced but an administration fee of £10 may be charged.
Any cards not used over a six month period will lose any accumulated points.
The scheme may be withdrawn on three months’ notice.
Café Ubé caters for most dietary requirements.
Our group executive head chef is an expert in the area, assisting with staff training and menu development for the whole business.
All our cafés offer gluten, dairy, meat and fish-free choices, including gluten-free soups and salads. No gluten-containing ingredient, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes are marked with a “NGCI”, “DF”, “VV” and “V” respectively.
Gift Cards are available for purchase online and from all of our Café Ubé and JPRestaurants locations. Please visit any of our cafés or restaurants and ask a member of the team, who will be happy to help you.
To order a gift card for postal delivery, please click here to purchase a Gift Card online. Your payment will taken for the desired amount and the card will be posted (to Jersey and UK addresses only) free of charge to you/directly to the recipient within 2 working days.
JPRestaurants Gift Cards cannot be purchased via telephone.
Please note that JPRestaurants Gift Cards can only be used in Banjo, Oyster Box, Jersey Crab Shack and Café Ubé. They cannot be used online for the purchase of online food orders. Please click here to see the full Terms & Conditions in our FAQs.
