To place your order, please click on the Click & Collect button on our website or go to order.cafeube.com

Add the food you’d like to your basket, chose a slot time for delivery, pay online and then come and collect from your chosen café. We have a limit the number of orders per slot to ensure good service, so please understand if your chosen slot is not available.

From Monday 23rd November, customers can sign up for our new self-scan loyalty cards.

To sign up, please collect a new card from your local Café Ubé, write your details on the envelope, then place the envelope in the box.

You can keep the card and start using it right away, but we’ll need to register it before you can spend your points. We’ll do this usually within a week once we’ve received your completed envelope.

If you have an old card, you can also transfer the points to a new self-scan card. To do this, please pick up a new card and fill in your details on the envelope, then place your old card inside the envelope before putting it in the collection box. We’ll then transfer the points over from the old card to your new card. Please note that it will usually take around a week for the points to transfer.

If you have lost your old card, we may still be able to transfer any points you had collected. If this is the case for you, please write ‘LOST’ on your envelope when signing up for a new card, and we’ll run a search to check for any old cards associated with your email address.

Please note that any cards not used for a six month period from 23rd November will lose their accumulated points (in line with our terms and conditions). So, if you’ve already got a card, don’t forget to transfer it to a new card by next spring!

The JPRestaurants Loyalty Card entitles you to receive points on every purchase you make at Café Ubé which you can redeem against subsequent purchases at any Café Ubé.

You will earn 5 points for every pound you spend on food and cold drinks, and 10 points for every pound you spend on hot drinks. Each 100 points entitles you to food and hot and cold drinks to a value of £1, an equivalent of 5% discount (10% on hot drinks) on all purchases redeemable only in Café Ubé.

The card will also entitle you to a year round 10% discount on all ceramics and gifts at our sister company’s ceramic shop in Halkett Place (Jersey Pottery). Please present your card every time you make a purchase.

In order to continue to receive the benefits as a cardholder, you agree to your current e-mail address being held on the JPRestaurants database and to receive e-mails and newsletters from time to time about our products and services. You may be required on an annual basis to confirm your e-mail address and if you unsubscribe from the database, your card may be withdrawn. Lost cards will be replaced but an administration fee of £10 may be charged.

Any cards not used over a six month period will lose any accumulated points.

The scheme may be withdrawn on three months’ notice.

Café Ubé caters for most dietary requirements. Our group executive head chef is an expert in the area, assisting with staff training and menu development for the whole business. All our cafés offer gluten, dairy, meat and fish free choices including gluten free soups and salads. No gluten-containing ingredient, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian dishes are marked on the menu by a “NGCI”, “DF”, “VV” and  “V” respectively. As with all food allergies and intolerances, we request that you let our staff know in advance so we can be sure to satisfy your requirements.

The way allergens are labelled on pre-packed foods has changed. The Food Information Regulation, which came into force in December 2014, introduced a requirement that food businesses must provide information about the allergenic ingredients used in any food they sell or provide. There are 14 major allergens which need to be mentioned when they are used as ingredients in a food. The list is as follows:

Celery, Cereals Containing Gluten, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Soya and Sulphur Dioxide (sometimes known as Sulphites).

If you would like to find out about ingredients in our daily soup or some other products which don’t list every ingredient, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help and provide you with this information. We also maintain all information relating to allergens in accordance with UK law, even though it is not a requirement yet in Jersey and it is listed on all soup and other food labels. We can confirm that all soups are low gluten (not made in a gluten-free kitchen) and we display a list of all soups served each week with details of which are vegetarian and gluten-free. This website menu has mobile enabled access. We also know the provenance of all our food and can provide you with information if you’d like to contact our head office via the link above.

Gift Cards are available for purchase online and from all of our restaurants (Banjo, Oyster Box, Jersey Crab Shack St. Brelade and Jersey Crab Shack Gorey) and Café Ubé (King Street, Colomberie and Liberation Station).

If you are unable to visit any of the above locations, please click here to purchase a Gift Card online. Your payment will taken for the desired amount and the card will be posted (to Jersey and UK addresses only) free of charge to you/directly to the recipient within 2 working days.

JPRestaurants Gift Cards cannot be purchased via telephone.

Please note that JPRestaurants Gift Cards can only be used in Banjo, Oyster Box, Jersey Crab Shack and Café Ubé. They cannot be used online for the purchase of ceramics or online food orders. Please click here to see the full Terms & Conditions in our FAQs.

Please also note that, from summer 2020, we are temporarily unable to accept gift card payments in our outlets. We are working to find a way to accept gift card payment contactlessly, so that we can keep contact between guests and staff to a minimum.
Any gift cards that expired during our closure period, or that expire when we cannot accept gift card payment, will be renewed for two months from the date that we can accept the cards again.
